We first sensed a call to serve in Europe in 1998, and after 17 years, the Lord opened the door. We have been in the Black Country (just west of Birmingham in the Midlands of the UK) since March 2015, working to help small local church plants make disciples who make disciples. We are also passionate about helping the UK church once again take the gospel to other parts of the world, but this time without the influence of empire mixed in.
We are currently working with Brickworks church, whose vision is to develop a network of disciples gathering regularly together around Jesus in smaller house churches and sharing His good news with their communities throughout the week, and then to see all those house groups gather together a handful of times per year for open air worship on a local field. With this local church, we also have a vision to create an intentional Christian community house, for people who want to further develop in practical discipleship and ministry and those in need of practical discipleship and ministry. The Brickworks neighbourhood was an influential place in the global Industrial Revolution 200 years ago, and although run down physically and spiritually at the moment, we are praying it will again be a vibrant and influential place in a global revolution of a different sort - this time for Jesus and His Gospel.
