A "THANK YOU!" from Athens

GEM's president, Henry Deneen, has been in Europe over the last few weeks. During his stay in Athens, he met up with the chairman of GEM's Board of Directors, Rob Bugh. Together, they took some time to give a report on what Henry has seen and experienced these past weeks.

The Search for Abnormal People

We often hear about how frequently the average "normal" person needs to hear the Gospel before they respond positively. Or about how many years it "normally" takes for a person to respond to the Gospel after they've been engaged by a witnessing Christian. (I won't state those numbers here. They're not particularly encouraging.) This is especially true amongst Europeans who have a lot of post-Christendom cultural baggage that, on the surface, results in immediate resistance to any discussion about God, Jesus, or the Bible.
