Steps to the Field

EuroQuest (Three Months to One Year)

1. Help us get to know you by filling out our Ministry Exploration Form (or call 800.436.4488 for a hard copy). You'll share information such as your testimony and ministry interests.

2. We'll ask for four references, and we'll contact your church.

3. GEM staff will help you explore fields of ministry. You'll begin interacting with the missionary with whom you'll most likely work.

4. Once we've reviewed and approved your application and references, you'll be invited to attend a EuroQuest Orientation in Monument, Colorado. (We host four orientations a year, usually in February, May, August, and November. The cost is $150 plus airfare.) You'll also receive information to read and complete, including financial paperwork and questions about your life and relationship with God.

5. The 3½ day EuroQuest Orientation is the last step in the application process. Think of it as a two-way interview: you'll learn about us and decide if we're right for you, and we'll learn more about you to decide if you're right for the GEM family.

6. If you're accepted into the EuroQuest program at the end of orientation, you can begin Ministry Partner Development. This involves seeking prayer and financial support for your ministry assignment.

7. When you've completed Ministry Partner Development, we'll give you clearance to depart for the field!
