Prayer Guide for Sept. 2011

Pray with us throughout the month of September, using these prayer and praise reminders. You can download a pdf of the guide here.
 
MONDAY (Pray for Biblical Training)
Praise God for focused biblical training the GEM staff received at Annual Conference in Poland.  We learned how to more effectively share our faith, make disciples, and multiply churches.  God has been opening the doors for hundreds of Europeans to hear and respond to His call.  Pray that in the coming weeks we will continue to see new believers who lead others to follow Christ.
 
TUESDAY (Pray for Reaching Strategic Cities)
Praise the Lord for GEM’s focus on seeing movements of discipleship and church planting in 50 key cities over the next five years.  Pray specifically for movements to start in the six key locations we are focused on this year. Pray for key strategies to be implemented and that God's Kingdom will expand in each of these cities.
 
WEDNESDAY (Pray for Catalytic Leaders)
Praise God for bringing new catalytic strategy leaders to GEM.  Because of their involvement, more than 150 people were called to serve in Europe this summer.  Praise God that two teams are staying for three years to follow up on what has been started.  Pray that God will continue to bring key leaders to GEM to start movements.
 
THURSDAY (Pray for New Churches & Believers)
Praise God with us for the hundreds of new believers who have come to faith since February in key cities of focus.  In one of these cities we have seen 40 new believers, 16 baptisms, and 12 new, simple churches.  Will you pray that the momentum continues—in this city and in others?
 
FRIDAY (Pray for Church Partnerships)
Praise God for the churches that are partnering with us to reach Europe and to help establish rapidly reproducing churches.  Pray for the new partnerships being developed.  Pray that these churches will catch hold of GEM’s vision and mission.  Ask God to continue to connect us with churches that agree with, and will support, our vision and mission.
 
SATURDAY (Pray for GEM Field Workers)
Pray for God’s provision and spiritual protection for each of our field workers.  Please pray daily that they will rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to guide, nourish, and encourage their souls.  Pray against any plans of the evil one to distract, discourage, or harm GEM staff and missionaries.
 
SUNDAY (Pray for New Ministry Partnerships)
Praise God with us for the believers He is leading to give, pray, and go to Europe to serve with GEM.  Pray that He will continue to bring new individuals through our doors—followers of Jesus who desire to reach Europe with the Gospel by making disciples and planting reproducing churches.
