Mission Statement

The purpose of Greater Europe Mission is to assist the peoples of Greater Europe in building up the Body of Christ so that every person is within reach of a witnessing fellowship.

Focus Statement

“…a witnessing fellowship within reach of every person.”

Description: A witnessing fellowship is a community of believers who love and worship the Triune God and who, through their words and deeds, are proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.

Goal:  To see witnessing fellowships mature through the Holy Spirit's influence into loving, vibrant, multiplying churches led by spiritual leaders, searching the Scriptures as their source of guidance for faith and practice, and observing the ordinances.

Individual fields use the above description as a reference point to develop their own description of witnessing fellowships based on their local context. They determine first the function of witnessing fellowships, and then think about the range of functions and forms based on Biblical mandates, local context and GEM Guidelines.

GEM sees witnessing fellowships develop through the pursuit of 5 primary emphasis; Prayer, Ministry Community, Collaboration, Discovery (which includes Research), and Training.
