Community

Greater Europe Mission believes that the Body of Christ best communicates the Gospel through community. As missionaries seek to plant reproducing churches and make disciples, they do so in the context of community. This is a key element in multiplying any church.

With community come essential elements of the Christian life, such as mutual accountability and an opportunity to use one’s strengths and help to cover for one’s weaknesses. GEM missionaries operate and relate within small, field-based communities—sometimes physical, sometimes virtual—and seek to draw new disciples into natural communities. By working, living, and growing together, we can more fully experience and expand God’s Kingdom here on Earth.
