Marketplace Initiatives

Are you an entrepreneur interested in starting a missional business in North Africa? Is your company sending you to Europe, and would you like to impact God’s Kingdom there? Maybe you wonder how you can remain in North America and leverage your business knowledge and experience for breakthroughs on the mission field.

The marketplace—business, education, and government—is the heart of every city. It shapes people's passions, values, and ultimately their lives. For a city to be transformed, its heart must be transformed. Through GEM, marketplace professionals are impacting Europeans in and through the marketplace. Their goals are to model Christ, lead people to Christ and disciple them, and facilitate rapid church planting for Kingdom expansion. You can fulfill your marketplace calling through GEM in three ways:

• Work for an existing corporation (international or local) in a target country.
• Start your own business in a target country.
• Live in North America and provide mentoring, coaching, business platforms, short-term trips, etc. that empower marketplace impact on the field.

GEM is committed to help you fulfill your calling in each of these three areas through envisioning, equipping, connecting you with a team, and providing the accountability and other resources you need for effective life and ministry.
