Question: Why do teachers bring
money for the College?
Answer: Ukrainian churches are very supportive of the College, but in the area of finances, they are able to provide little help. Donations from teachers give those who know the teacher the opportunity to participate in this mission effort.
Question: How do teachers raise funds?
Answer: In many cases home churches include the cost for the teacher in their mission budget, or they make it a special mission project. Many teachers receive funds from friends after sharing what they plan to do. A few teachers use personal funds. Funds given toward this project are tax-deductible through receipts issued by Greater Europe Mission or a church.
Question:
How are these funds used?
Answer: The funds provide salaries for interpreters, Ukrainian teachers, library, office, and maintenance staff. Additional costs cover student expenses such as food, books, and lodging. Funds are also used for the operational expenses of the college.
