Opportunities for Service

English Adventure Camp

Do you have a passion for the lost?  Do you like adventure?  Do you speak English?  If so, this opportunity is perfect for you.  You'll serve alongside a national, student-led ministry in Pitesti to help put on a camp to reach local high school and university students.  As you build relationships with students through conversational English, adventure, and games, you'll be able to show them the love of Jesus.

 

Location:  Pitesti, Romania  

Dates:  July 16 - 27, 2010

Team Size:  8-12

Who:  College students, HS students, Adults (young at heart)                  

Application Deadline(two months before trip):   May 1, 2010

Europeans explore Christianity in a safe setting

Christian camping is an effective means of earning peoples trust to present the Gospel. Sharing life 24/7 at camp is like living in a fishbowl. The realities of sin are exposed, and as camp staff live out the Gospel, the fruit of the Spirit is also exposed.

God can use your strengthseverything from counseling to maintenanceto make a difference at a Greater Europe Mission camp.
