Opportunities for Service

Course Writer/Designer

Eastern Europeans have a great need and desire for computer training, and eDOT (electronic Discipleship, Outreach, and Training) is called to meet this need. If you have the ability to write computer-training courses, eDOT can get them translated and then use them as outreach tools in these countries. The courses are offered through eDOT's computer centers, where local believers teach them and connect people with Christians in their own community. During the classes, local believers can build relationships and share the Gospel with their non-believing students.

eDOT currently needs courses for:

  • AutoCAD
  • Excel
  • Movie making
  • Outlook
  • Photoshop
  • Web design
  • Using the Internet
  • Setting up and using email

Be a witness for Christ through technology!

Technology and missions might not seem to mix. But Europeans are hearing about Jesus as they learn to use computers. And, through distance learning, European pastors and church leaders receive access to theological education.

  • Our team led training sessions for adults and teens in Romania. Each day included a chapel time where team members shared their testimonies. Over 130 people heard the Gospel, saw the love of Christ demonstrated, and learned how to use a computer. Three are now part of Gods family. Josh, short-term GEM missionary
